We all at one point or another are amazed with the technologies of face, object, color or any type of recognition system. Most of us are also familiar with the massive robotic company DFRobot, they bring some highly interactive and feature packed robotic devices and this time they are crowd-funding a project on kickstarter that is much more awesome than any other of their products (According to me at-least 😉 ).

About the Product

Huskylens is an easy-to-use AI based vision sensor designed for maker to give them a new way to make their projects. It is seriously a feature packed device that is going to make every image sensor based projects a hell lot easier for all the engineers out there. The company says that wit the implementation of the AI chip in the sensor itself, it can process the images at up-to 30 FPS. Not only that, do you know? It is compatible with all the famous microcontroller and microprocessor development boards out there ( Arduino, Raspberry Pi, LattePanda, or micro:bit etc).

HuskyLens has several image processing and recognition algorithms built in. You are able to change various algorithms by pressing buttons. By a simple click, HuskyLens will start learning new objects. After that, Huskylens can detect them. To play with it, connect HuskyLens to your controller board, and make your projects.  

Additionally, HuskyLens carries a 2.0 inch display, what you see is what you get! There is no need to use a PC to finish the parameters tuning. HuskyLens is designed to be smart. Built-in algorithms allow HuskyLens to learn new objects, faces, and colors through a single click. Moreover, by long pressing, HuskyLens can continually learn them even from different perspectives and in various ranges. The more it learns, the more accurate it can be.

I am just in pure love with this product. Just check out the mind boggling features it offers and you will soon tell the same. It offers almost all the thing one needs pre-programmed with it. You can not only scan faces but also recognize them with huskylens along with that it can also recognize QR codes, various objects, colors and so much more.
