About Analog pH Sensor Kit :

This Analog pH Sensor Kit is designed for precise pH level measurement in DIY electronics and embedded system projects. It includes a BNC-type pH electrode probe and a signal conditioning module, making it fully compatible with Arduino and other microcontroller platforms. Ideal for water quality monitoring, aquaculture systems, and chemistry experiments, the sensor measures the hydrogen ion concentration in liquids, which is reflected as pH (potential of hydrogen).

The included pH probe features a single-cylinder design with BNC output and provides real-time, stable readings. Just plug the BNC connector into the sensor module and connect it to your Arduino board’s analog input — no complex circuitry needed!

Why Choose This Kit?

  • Compatible with Arduino and other 5V controllers
  • Built-in LED power indicator and signal amplifier
  • Accurate and fast-response probe with BNC connection
  • Reliable for real-time pH monitoring in labs and projects
  • Ideal for educational, industrial, and research setups

Specifications:

  • Operating Voltage: 5V DC ±0.2V
  • Current Draw: 5–10 mA
  • Measurement Range: 0 to 14 pH
  • Operating Temp: 0 – 50°C
  • Accuracy: ±0.01 pH
  • Response Time: ≤ 60 seconds
  • Power Consumption: ≤ 0.5W
  • Probe Length: 150 mm, Φ12 mm
  • Cable Length: 75 cm
  • Module Dimensions: 42 x 32 x 20 mm
  • Weight: ~50g

Pin Description:

  • V+ – Power supply (5V)
  • G, G – Ground
  • Po – Analog output (voltage varies with pH)
  • Do – Digital threshold output (adjustable via potentiometer)
  • To – Temperature sensor output (analog)

How to Use:

  1. Connect the Probe: Attach the pH probe to the BNC connector on the module.
  2. Connect to Arduino: Plug the analog output pin (Po) into an analog input of your Arduino.
  3. Upload Code: Use any standard pH sensor Arduino sketch (link provided below).
  4. Calibrate with pH 7.00 Solution: Short the probe input or dip it into a pH 7.00 buffer. Read the serial monitor. Adjust the code’s Offset value if necessary.
  5. Calibrate for Acidic/Alkaline Range: Use pH 4.00 (acidic) or 9.18 (alkaline) standard solutions to fine-tune readings by adjusting the onboard potentiometer.
  6. Measure: Once calibrated, you’re ready to monitor the pH level of your solution.

 Important Tips:

  • Always calibrate using known buffer solutions before use.
  • Avoid submerging the probe in liquids for extended periods.
  • Rinse the probe with distilled water before measuring different solutions.
  • Use a precise 5.00V power supply for better accuracy.
  • Maintain room temperature (~25°C) for best results.

 Applications:

  • Water quality & hydroponics monitoring
  • Fish farming and aquaculture
  • Chemistry lab experiments
  • Environmental science projects
  • Liquid testing in research setups

Package Includes:

  • 1 × pH Electrode Probe with BNC Cable
  • 1 × pH Sensor Signal Conditioning Module

⚠️ Note: This is a laboratory-grade sensor. Prolonged submersion in liquid is not recommended.
