1/2 Inch Water Flow Sensor – YF-S201
The YF-S201 Water Flow Sensor is a compact and reliable flow measurement sensor designed to monitor the flow rate of water in pipes and fluid systems. It uses a built-in Hall effect sensor and rotating turbine mechanism to generate pulse signals based on the water flow, allowing accurate flow measurement using microcontrollers like Arduino, ESP32, or Raspberry Pi.
As water passes through the sensor, the internal rotor spins and the Hall effect sensor converts this motion into digital pulse signals. These pulses can be counted to determine flow rate and total water usage, making the sensor ideal for smart water monitoring systems and automation projects.
