About 1.3 Inch OLED Display (White)

This 1.3 inch OLED display is a monochrome 128×64 dot matrix module with white pixels on a black PCB, using the I2C interface. It gives you a larger, easier-to-read screen than the 0.96″ OLED while needing only 2 data pins. Compared to an LCD, an OLED has high brightness, self-emission (no backlight), a high contrast ratio, a slim outline, a wide viewing angle and low power consumption. The onboard voltage regulator makes it compatible with any 3.3V–5V microcontroller, such as ESP32, Arduino and Raspberry Pi.

Pin Definition

  • GND: Power ground
  • VCC: Power positive (3.3V–5V)
  • SCL: I2C clock line
  • SDA: I2C data line

Note: GND is the first pin on this module. Many 1.3″ OLEDs have VCC first, so double-check your wiring.

I2C Address Selection

The back of the module has an ADD_SELECT resistor marked 0x78 and 0x7A. These are 8-bit addresses. In most code and I2C scanners they appear as 7-bit addresses:

  • 0x78 = 0x3C (default)
  • 0x7A = 0x3D (move the resistor to the 0x7A side)

This lets you run two 1.3″ OLED displays on the same I2C bus.

Specifications
